An ideal surgical technique for postaxial polysyndactyly of the toes

      Postaxial polysyndactyly of the toes is the most common congenital malformation. Treatment needs to consider aesthetic result; in particular, the family expects toes with near-normal form without ugly scarring. We have devised and obtained good results with an ideal operative procedure that achieves a near-normal form for the toe tip and hides the operation scar.
