- PreviewI read with much interest the growing number of recent articles and correspondences regarding undergraduate plastic surgery. Although Davis et al.1 have concluded that there is an increasing demand and need for plastic surgery education in medical school, I believe that the majority of students who attended the one-day British Association of Plastic Reconstructive and Aesthetic Surgeons (BAPRAS) Undergraduate course were by default, a self-selective group, as evidenced by their self-reported interest in plastic surgery (5.9 out of 10) before the course.
