      I read with interest a correspondence article by Jalali et al

      which characterised the achievements of current registrars holding national training numbers (NTN) in the United Kingdom (UK). As a medical student interested in pursuing a career in plastic surgery, this study complemented the information students like me receive from courses such as the one organised by the British Association of Plastic, Reconstructive and Aesthetic Surgeons.
