Revisit ‘extracorporeal loop’ technique in free-tissue transfer

      The success of microsurgical free-flap transfer depends primarily on microvascular anastomosis; however, the flap pedicle length may not always be sufficient for direct microanastomosis. A long venous graft to create an arteriovenous loop in a recipient vessel is usually the solution for these difficult situations.
