Salvage of infected breast expander prosthesis: the advantage of an integral port

      Infection of a breast prosthesis is a devastating complication which usually results in its removal. We have successfully treated a case of periprosthetic infection of a tissue expander that had an integral port with a technique that demonstrates a potential benefit of this type of prosthesis.
